Executive Chef Jason Hellyer and his team have curated a thoughtful and extensive menu, and it’s no surprise that The Lagoon is unsurpassed when it comes to Wollongong seafood restaurants, and it’s been that way for over 30 years.
The Lagoon menu is a wonderland for the seafood lover. It’s hard to look past the king of all seafood dishes – the legendary two-storey Hot and Cold Seafood Platter for Two, with whole lobster mornay, Moreton Bay and Balmain bugs, oysters two-ways, and scallops in the shell, just to name a few.
For the purists, a fresh, locally-caught whole baked snapper finished with a light lemon and brandy sauce will delight.
