Wollongong's Wedding of the Year 2008

Jonni & George Nicolaou were married at the Greek Orthodox Chrurch on Saturday the 24th of May 2008 and had celebrated with over 300 guests at the Lagoon. It was The Illawarra Mercury’s Wedding of the Year and Jonni appeard on the front page of the Newspapper.

“We arrived at the reception on the Hot Rod while guests were still outside enjoying canapés… it was so amazing seeing everyone out there, as we drove up onto the grass near fairy creek lagoon, fireworks went off over the water. We felt like movie stars!”

The menu included an oyster bar for the pre-dinner drinks, with freshly shucked oysters and other canapés includes BBQ king prawns on skewer, soy scallops and much more. The reception menu included antipasto platter to start, then cold seafood platter, followed by a hot seafood platter, and main meal was an alternate drop of eye fillet of beef with fresh lobster, and john dory with scampi… Dessert included vanilla bean crème brule and honey wafers, followed by petit for’s, cheese platter and wedding cake.
